About the Firm
AGAPITOS LLC was founded by Pavlos Agapitos. Prior to fulfilling his lifelong ambition of starting his own law firm, Pavlos had practiced law in two of the largest and most renowned law firms on the island and brings with him a wealth of experience in various fields of Cypriot legal practice.
Pavlos is an English School Nicosia alumnus and read law at the University of Kent at Canterbury, where he obtained an LL.B. with honors and subsequently the postgraduate title LL.M. in International Trade Law from the University of Essex, where he gained specialization in Commercial Law, International Commercial Arbitration and Trade Finance. His Masters’ degree dissertation focused on the topic of challenges to the jurisdiction of the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes.
He has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2009. Pavlos has extensive experience in handling complex, multijurisdictional corporate and commercial disputes, drafting commercial and other agreements and advising on Company Law, Insolvency, Trade Financing, Insurance, Banking, Construction and Real Estate Law.

Ms. Ioanna Katsara was born in Nicosia.

Ioanna graduated Summa Cum Laude from the European University of Cyprus in 2016, having obtained an LL.B in Law. She also holds a BA in Sociology from the Social and Political Sciences department of the University of Cyprus.

She has been a member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2017 and she joined AGAPITOS LLC in the same year, having successfully completed her pupilage. Ioanna's main areas of practice are civil and commercial litigation and she is also experienced in Family and Employment Law.

Ms. Niki Polykarpou was born in Paphos.

Niki holds an LL.B. in Law from the University of Cyprus in 2015, and an LL.M. in Law with specialization in Commercial & Corporate Law from the Queen Mary University of London in 2016. Upon successful completion of her pupilage, she has become a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and a practicing advocate since 2017. Her main areas of practice are corporate law, immigration law, real estate, intellectual property law.

Ms. Evangelia Tsionara was born in the town of Xanthi in Greece.

Evangelia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Primary School Teaching from the University of Cyprus and she is currently studying towards obtaining a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Studies and Comparative Education at University of Cyprus. During her graduate studies, she had the opportunity to work at the university as a research assistant. Evangelia joined the firm in 2017 and she handles all administrative matters of the firm, including client care, office supply management and organization and front desk management.
